Significant Severe Weather Possible Thursday

It's been a stormy spring already and Thursday is shaping up to be a significant severe weather day for Middle Tennessee.

The Storm Prediction Center has already outlined a "moderate risk" of severe storms for mainly the eastern half of Tennessee. That's a level four of five. That's a rare move by the SPC a day ahead of time.

Rutherford County Emergency Management Agency is asking residents to be on alert Thursday as the potent storm system is expected to bring all modes of severe weather.
